How to select all/ctrl-A in a script?

Hi,

When creating/running a script- how do I have the script (not Skill) select all the entities that are presently visible (i.e. select all, ctrl-A)? Example- I want to change all the (visible) Line Widths to a certain value and need the script to select all the visible entities. There must be an easy way to do this…???

Thanks!

    Hi

    This can be done pretty simple. Record script with the following steps

    1. Edit -> Change

    2. In Options panel set the new line width

    3. In Find panel deselect everything and select cline segs

    4. At the bottom of the Find panel set Find by Name dropdown to Net

    5. In the field below type * (star) and press Enter

    This is it :-)

    Remember it will work on all visible cline segments.

    Best regards

    Ole

    Thnaks- this is great! Now- this brings up another question- How do I do it for Drawing Format type entities (i.e. text, lines)? Can't seem to get this to work for these.

    Thanks again and All Best, John
