Padstack shape

Carvey

Using PCB EDITOR 16.3.

I created a shape for use in a padstack.

When I open the .dra file it say's it's a shape.

I thought a custom shape for use in a padstack had an extension of .ssm.

Where does the .ssm reside?

When I try to manually load the symbol it cannnot find the shape I created for it.

Yet when I look in the padstacks folder the .dra file is listed.

I have checked the paths for both the symbol and .psm.

The .dra symbol and .pad are listed.

What am I missing here?

thanks

carvey

Make sure that the ssm and dra for the shape reside in your psmpath location and not your padpath location
