Translating PADS to Allegro

 All,

I am attempting to translate a PADS.asc file to Allegro. It seems to be a straight forward action where I follow the drop downs and make the appropriate selections. I'm running Allegro PCB Design L 16.3 with up to date hot fixes. I am unable to generate the .brd . I asked someone who has XL to translate and it worked but did not display correctly. Any help ould be great.

Thanks,

Ron Scott CID+

     All,

I have been working offine with Ole to get this translation to work correctly. Ole discovered that 16.2 translator works much better than 16.3. Has anyone else who uses the translator experienced this difference in performance? I believe this is something Cadence should probably look into.

     Cheers,
