Error [ALG0065] Illegal character Error

 Hello,

I am getting this error while creating netlist for allegro PCB Editor.

I am not seeing any Illegal characters in design. what could be error? Netlist for orcad layout generates without error.

#1 Error   [ALG0065] Illegal character in \llama_processor_rev0-2(05052009)\.
#2 Aborting Netlisting... Please correct the above errors and retry.

    I suspect that the parenthesis "(" and ")" characters are the problem. These are not legal characters for Allegro netlists. Cadence Online Support lists Solution 11072282 which details the length limitation (without the use of the long name size variable to control lenghts)  and legal characters for netlists.
