why can't I remove the fixed property of a symbol?

I want to move a symbol.

but I can't move it, even I removed all the fixed property of that symbol.

I tried it many time by different ways,picking all property option or each property option respectively.

even though doing this, I still can't  delete the symbol or move it ?

why?

    Churbill,

         If you select the Show Element icon (F4) and then the part, what does it show for "Properties attached to symbol" at the bottom of the window?  If it is blank and you still can't move the symbol, I am not sure what the problem may be.  Obvious question...is you find filter set to symbols after you select the move icon?  The only other thing you might try, don't know if it will work, is to update the symbol then try to move it.

     Try unfix all as you might have another element on the part fixed.  Then edit->Move

    the soluction you mentioned was tried by me.

    it's blank. even so, it can't be move.

    about update, do you mean using the ' update symbol' command?

     Is it possible you have fixed the component and not just the symbol ?? Try doing an info on the comps instead of symbol

    Do you have any traces to that part?  Are any of the Nets or Clines Fixed?  If so you cannot move or delete the part until they are unfixed.
