Ratsnest has left

 Hi everybody,

I have a problem that drives me crazy. After routing multiple pins that are not aligned, ratsnest leaves. It seems that every track must be connected to the center of pin. If track touches pin but not to the center of pin, it won't be connected according to ratsnest that has left.(You can look at the JPG file, Ratsnest has left) What is the solution to avoid this problem.

Thanks everyone.

You can't connect a track (cline) to the pin unless it's at the center of the pin -- as you just found out.  Make sure that "snap to connect" is turned on in the options tab when routing.

The rat won't disappear but it will shrink in length so it is hard to find.

Your jpg was not attached so you might want to reattach it if you are still having a problem.

     Thanks Redwire for your answer.

I have designed pcb for many years with Protel & Altium. In those softwares if track(cline) connect to each corner of pad the net(ratsnest) will disappear. But in Allegro I should connect each cline to center of pin, If the symbols are not aligned (as it usually happens in complex board) the most clines won't be straight and above all it will waste your time to connect each cline to the center of pad in the case of multiple pin routing. So I am still confused, what is the reason behind this feature?

Futhermore I want to compare the routed PCB with schematic(in Orcad), Are there any tools other than Allegro reports (like unconnected pins, ...) that can extract and report the connections of PCB whether the clines connect to center of pads or other parts of it.

I really appreciate averyone who pays attention and helps me.
