Assembly as searchable pdf

 Hej

Is there any way of making a pdf file for assembly that is searchable? Meaning that i want to create an assembly for top and bottom as a pdf and then be able to search for a given component in that pdf.

Regards

 Kim

Searchable text has to be defined in PLOT SETUP.

    Under the WINDOWS TAB

    Select Non-vectorized text check box

Then you must select the font character, we use Courier

We typically don’t have components on the back side of our designs.

Are you using a third party software program to create your assembly drawings?

We use the same software program, PCB EDITOR to create our assembly drawings.
