error name too long

Hi,

I have an error that I could not find a solution. Here what I got when I try to transfer design to pcb editor

ERROR(SPMHNI-164): Problems with device 'HEADER 15X2_1_HDRV30W64P254_2X1'. JEDEC_TYPE property 'HDRV30W64P254_2X15_3810X500X800P' is illegal: 'Package name is too long.'.

When I save the HDRV30W64P254_2X15_3810X500X800P.dra file with Allegro, I got this error:

E- (SPMHSY-31): 'O:/Allegro/pcb_lib/symbols/HDRV/HDRV30W64P254_2X15_3810X500X800P.dra', name too long

I thing the path name is not really long, but I wonder if I can do something to get this error solve ?

I'm using Allegro 16.2Performance option.

Try adding the following entries to your %home%\pcbenv\env file:

set allegro_long_package_name
set allegro_long_name_size = 64

Jonathan,
Open your Design Parameter Editor and select the Design tab. In the first section you can change your Long Name Size. I have mine set to 255.

This have corrected the Error in Allegro. But I have the error on Capture again. I have also done what djhutchi tell me. Same error.
I don't know what to do now !
