Orcad Layout Plus V16.2

 Hello,

I was hoping someone can help me.

 When I go into my library to make a part, after I make it I save it and the program shuts down and I lose the part.

 Any Idea why this happens?

    Try adding the part to a new library, ensure that the part / library name is restricted to characters A thru Z and 0 thru 9, some other characters may cause issues. If the new library works, you could try a MIN interchange on the existing library, File>Export>MIN Interchange, select the library to create a MIN file, then File>Import>MIN Interchange, select the MIN file and see if the will rebuild the library internals.

    16.2 is the end of the line for OrCAD Layout so you will will need to work around whatever the program does in its present version.
