Autosilk doesn't work for shapes on silkscreen layer

archive
archive over 15 years ago

I have created a mechanical package that is essentially a sillkscreen logo made of shapes, and I can place it on the board no problem, however, when I run the Manufaturing>Silkscreen function to create the Silkscreen layer for manufacturing any area that I have created on either the package geometery (class)silkscreen layer (subclass) or the board geometry (class) silkscreen (subclass) doesn't get transfered to this layer. Is there any reason for this? Package outline and other things that I have created such as text all works, it's just the shapes (used to create a solid silkscreen shape) that do not work.

 Thanks

This Skill utility will copy shapes and add some additional checks.
