Newbie. Moving from Orcad Layout to PCB Designer

I have always used Orcad Layout for PCB design. Since this is now officially EOL, the decision has been made to port everything we are currently doing to PCB Designer. This has gone OK so far, but I am now stuck. I have imported the Orcad Layout .MAX file, and everything worked as expected for several days. I am now trying to change the schematic and update the netlist however. When I do this in Orcad Capture, I get the following error message when trying to export the netlist to PCB Designer:

 ...
#63 Warning [AL
G0016] Part Name "74ACT373_0_SOG.65M/20/WG8.20/L6.98_74HCT373PW,118" is renamed to "74ACT373_0_SOG.65M/20/WG8.20/L6".
#64 Warning [ALG0016] Part Name "LPC1114_1_QUAD.50M/48/WG9.00_LPC1114" is renamed to "LPC1114_1_QUAD.50M/48/WG9.00_LP".

Now, I am sure this error message actually means something to some programmer sitting in a dark cave with a bag of Doritos in one hand and a blow up doll in the other, but for someone just starting out nothing could be less helpful than this. The footprint name of the offending part is DT_38. This works fine in Orcad Layout. It is only PCB Designer that seems to be sensitive about something. Problem is, I have absolutely no idea how to proceed.

Can anyone offer any helpful suggestions as to how to interpret what this message means when you don't speak Klingon? What does "Not all parts specified for sized part" actually mean in a language like English? The footprint looks fine from where I sit, and I have no trouble doing a netlist update to Orcad Layout. What is PCB Designer complaining about?

Where would any of you start trying to troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks in advance for any assistance with this inquiry.

    From the dump:

    :ins16823@\motometer_101b#0\.\crystal_0.normal\(chips)

You have a "#0" in a block name and "#" is not a permitted character in block names. (A-Z, 0-9 and _ are always safe)

Since the old Layout tool had "pretty much" no integrity checking, "pretty much" anything worked. PCB Editor likes to have things cleaned up before getting the netlist passed on.

There are 2 types of warnings,

1st ( #65 Warning [ALG0051] Pin "Vss" is renamed to "VSS#5" after substituting illegal characters in Package LPC1114_1 , U9: Eagle, Microcontroller (1.70, 1.10).) related to the usage of # in the pin name etc.. You cannot use any special characters in capture they are not supported.

    The 2nd warning ( #63 Warning [AL
G0016] Part Name "74ACT373_0_SOG.65M/20/WG8.20/L6.98_74HCT373PW,118" is renamed to "74ACT373_0_SOG.65M/20/WG8.20/L6".)is because the part name is long there is a restriction on the number of characters allowed in the part name.
