Viewing Padstacks in PCB Editor

Im trying to create a new package for a custom connector i will be using on a pcb design. In the package wizard however, its asks me to choose the 'default padstack to use for symbol pins', but when i click on the [...] button to go in and choose a padstack from the library all the quickviews for the padstacks are blank, meaning that i cant actually see what each padstack looks like. Is there another way to view the padstacks, as i cant choose which one i want if I cant see what they look like!

In Layout it was possible to open a library manager, and you could create/edit/view all the padstacks and packages in one place, but PCB Editor seems very very limited in the padstack library part of the design process??

Any help would be greatly appreciated, ive attached a screenshot to show the blank quickview in PCB Editor...

There is a bug in the software.  For now I would suggest using the pad designer to view the various pads.
