UPDATING SYMBOL PADSTACK

 Hi,
I want to update the symbol padstck in board file but the assembly & silkcreen REFDES position & size  should not change ?

is it possible to do?

Please suggest !

    There are two ways to accomplish this. The first is to either refresh or replace the padstack. Since this function is independent of the symbol, your text will not change. The second method, is to update the symbol. Here you have the option to reset the symbol text if you wish. check the box for update symbol padstacks, but leave the box for Reset symbol text locations unchecked.
