Variant component value different

Hello,

I have variants on my design which allows me to define 'do not fit'

I have noticed you can also have different values for a component per variant

eg  Variant1  .. R10 = 10k

     Variant2  .. R10 = 12K

they get highlighted in GREEN on the variant view of the schematic

How do i do this ?

Set the part to "Not Fitted" in the Variant Group / Sub-Group, then "Link Database Part" for the entry to select an alternative part, This will not work for a complex hierarchy, you get a message about having to change the core design.
