Differential Pair - Z Axis Spacing

Liana

I am working with several hundered diff pairs and need to maintain a pair to pair minimum spacing on both the same and adjacent layers.  Is there a way to set this up in constraint manager?  I am running 16.3

Also, is there a new "Best Practices" paper for working with Differerential pairs in 16.3?

Thanks,

Liana

Liana, I am unclear about how to define that in CM.  However, with “several hundred diff pairs” you might want to try the PCB Router.  It has a “PCB Interlayer Clearance Rule” with which you might achieve the z-axis constraint you require, as well as assist you with all that routing.  Obviously, post routing DRC checks are still going to be an issue without some type of z axis rule. Regards,
