OrCAD Capture - cannot set default fonts

Under OrCAD Capture (16.3 latest patch:

When I select the "Design Template" menu and set all my fonts to, say Arial 8, and then place a part, all the text in that part comes in with font size 5, which is too small.  I tried editing the libarary the same way by setting each text item (refdes, pin numbers, properties, etc) to text 8, and went into the Design Template and set everything to 8.  I save the library.

Then, when I add a part, all the text is still Arial 5.  Then am forced to change the text size AFTER placement.  This is very annoying.  Does anybody know what's going on?

Th Design Template gets cached into the DSN file when it is started, changing the Design Template will only affect a new design started after the Design Template changes are made, an existing DSN file will not be changed. You need to go to the DSN file in the project Window, right-click>Design Properties, Schematic Design tab, Design Properties button, make the changes. The changes will be effective from thne on but note that exsiting objects in the design will not reflect the changes, they will need to be changed manually.
