Allegro .brd file to Orcad Layout/Capture

I am currently using OrCAD Capture to modify a previous motherboard design by modifying the .DSN file. When I try to create a new file in Layout, it gives me multiple errors regarding missing footprints. I have some DXF and GBR files for the previous board and the .BRD file. Is there a way to extract the footprint library file from these? Or any other way from the .BRD file to .MAX?

     .brd to .max is ruled out(.max to .brd is possible) to export libraries from .brd file...choose File-Export-libraries

    I do not see any such option in my editor (17.2)

    If using the OrCAD set of pcb editors look in Export > More > Libraries
