copper pour question

Hi,

I have a customized shape symbol as attached.  In symbol editor, how do I fill the center portion (black) with copper?  I need to leave 20 mils space between the poured copper and the middle ring structure.

Currently I'm doing it in the layout.  Setting shape constraint space between the 2 shapes to be 20 mils.  I was wondeing if I can do it in the symbol editor.

Thanks.

You can add a copper shape to the symbol. If you wish to make an electrical connedtion to the copper you can make it a pin. Otherwise just add shape etch top.

My question is, how do I add such shape with 20 mils gap?  If it was a circle, things would be much easier.  In symbol editor, we can't use constraint editor to define the gap. Manually/visually drawing irregular shapes isn't feasible, especially the shape could be changed in the future.
