How do I add tear drops on my flex circuits board?

How do I add tear drops on the clines of my flex circuits board? I am using Allegro v16.3. The only option I can found in gloss is to add the Fillet. Please help. Thanks.

It is my understanding that automatic "tear drop" shaping of the the area where the trace enters a circular pad isn't available in 16.3.

However, the newly released 16.5  has a new feature called "Trace Tapering. I copied the following from the whats new section in 16.5

Trace tapering is the gradual reduction of line width on a PCB. The purpose of tapering is to
prevent abrupt changes in line width. Common in RF and Rigid Flex applications, tapering is
used to reduce stress at the location of the line width transition.
Trace tapering feature is a function of the shape-based fillet algorithm. The fillet parameter
form has been expanded to include a section specifically for trace tapering. Other minor
changes include a section for Global options at the beginning of the form. As with pin/via
based fillets, enabling the Dynamic option automatically adds the taper object during
interactive routing. If the Dynamic option is disabled, tapering can be done using the add
taper trace command located in the Route – Gloss menu.

I searched the 16.3 Help for "teardrops" and got the following plus many options on how to create them:  "The Pad and T Connection Fillet glossing application creates shape-based, rather than line-based fillets, also known as teardrops."  It seems that in this case a fillet is a teardrop.  Hope this helps.

Tear drop option is only available at Allegro performance or higher versions. If you using lower versions like Allegro PCB design L, it's not available.

I have used shapes to make the tear drops on flex circuit transmission lines.  With a shape you can control the outline of the shape much easier than if you define it in your gloss option.  A shape is especially easy if your transmission line is in the form of an arc.
