flexlm on RHEL6.0

Our file and license server packed it in, and I'm looking at rebuilding on RHEL6.0 / 64bit. The only thing that's odd is that I seem to require X for the installation, thanks to InstallScape. Is there a way to just install flexlm without InstallScape, so I don't have to jam X onto a server that will never have a display on it, for it's functional life?

I'd appreciate any thoughts on this...

Cheers,

M

Unarchive the downloaded TAR file then you could take a look through the Kits directory and see if you extract the required files. Good prospects for the files that you need are the SftShrTools11.70-s001lnx86.t.Z and MiscLicDaemon11.70-p001lnx86.t.Z, you should be able to get the License Manager and Daemon components and configure the license manager manually. There may also be some shell level scripts that will configure the license manager or allow you to examine what needs to be configured.
