Orcad do not remove property when deleted.

HI ,

I have encountered a problem , when deleting a cutom property ( say assembly)  in schematic, the property become invisiable , but not deleted.

Can you help finding how to get list of all parts that the use specific invisible property . I have tried via the the project manager but got notification that "display property can not view via the project manager"

Can some one help with any TCL that can select all the part in the design and display all its properties and status written to a file?

Tnx

Check that you have the latest hotfix installed, it seems that properties are more easily deleted than they once were. Or Delete the Properties at the Page Level.

If Properties were created in the Library, those properties cannot be deleted from the schematic. If the Property has no value, it was most likely added to the Library since Library Properties may be "placeholders", name but no value, but Schematic Properties must have a value assigned.

Can't help with the TCL but you probably don't need any.

HI Tnx for your answer, I'm looking a way to transfer the info regarding the visibility of user define property. It does not matter what was the rason for that , if due to Place holder or other. I've try to export to edit , but still it does not contain this info.
