Is there any setting to change the opaque look of the colors to a more solid look? Version 16.0

    Pitbull,

Under Setup/User Preferences/Display/Opengl place a check in the disable_opengl box and restart the program.  I believe this may be what you need to change.

Under Display -> Color Visibilty open the dialog

    Select the Display tree item

Then  under OpenGL Global Transparency set it to 100% plus set shape transparency to 100%
