Hi, i am a newbie,

can i know how can i make accuracy alignment of a row or a column of the reference designator?

e.g i have 12 components in a row, how can i make all the Ref Des in align?

another question, e.g now i have a fews un-align components in my layout, does it have a way to align the all the components? (like highlight all of the components and align it according to X or Y???)

Thanks,

    to align components:

set application mode to placement edit (setup - application mode)

set find filter or super filter to symbol

window select the components you wish to align (limitation to single side of design)

hover over the 'anchor' component you wish to align other components to then use the RMB - align components command or if modules, use RMB - align modules.

    Hi edhickey,

i have tried and get what your advice, but how about if the components already in my BRD layout, then i want to align them accordingly to a accuracy of X or Y? (e.g like i want to align all the components to X = 35.0, straight)

     thanks for advice,

    Regards,

    HC Tneh

     Just set your grid to 35 x 35 y

When you move the text, be sure to move it on body center.  All the text will be only on grid.

Component Alignment enhancements related to parameter driven spacing are being considered for an upcoming release.
