Cadence/Allegro to PADs

PADs can read an ORCAD schematic without much of an issue.  BUT does anyone have a way to convert Allegro Layout to PADs?

     Pads can read Orcad .max files but not Cadence .brd files. If you have access to Altium, you can get there. Altium can read a Cadence .brd file and then save a Altium .pcbdoc which Pads can read. Problem is that you are going through a double translation process which is not good. Translators are always flawed and their resulting accuracy is compounded by the individuality of each design.
