Hide/show Ref Des

Hi,

in cadance, Is it possible to Hide the Ref Des, but not delete it, and then how to re-call the Ref Des back again in BRD layout if the component Ref Des are not shown?

If they are not deleted, the Color control handles visibility, Display>Color/Visibility, Components / RefDes

Hi Oldmouldy,
This will hide all the Ref Des, How about to only hide certain component's Ref Des only??

Hello,

On really dense designs I sometime hide the reference designators that don’t fit. I normally just change them to a difference REF DES Subclass like DISPLAY_TOP using Edit > Change.
