Hi,

I am wondering, do cadence have a function, which can copy several PADs or components or traces for example, then set the distance between pasting, then can paste align it in multiple times in Row or Column,.

Last time i use Altium, the function is call "smart paste", i found it useful, so i am new in cadence, not sure do allegro have this function?

Please advice.

    Hello,

The standard Copy command in Allegro (Edit > Copy) has the ability to copy elements in a Rows and Column (Copy Mode: Rectangular) as well as in a Circular Array (Copy Mode: Polar).  Once you enter the Copy command the Options Side Tab provides you the options to perform these tasks.  Give it a try!

    Hope this helps,
