parallel trace

 Hi,

Can i know how to check the total lenght of a trace from a point to point?

and how to draw a parallel line which are same lenght from both starting point to another point?

     hi again,

    your cadence product must be limited version.allegro pcb design L.this option that i mentioned can be used by allegro pcb design GXL.

    T,

         Figured it out.  I hope this will help.  Note:  It depends on the complexity of the trace path, it may cross.  Try this... Place your VCC1 trace.  Use the copy command to copy the trace and shift it where you would like.  If you can move it such that the end of the trace ends on your VCC2 connection point, it will take on that net name.  If not start a new trace at the VCC2 point and connect it to the copied trace and the copied trace will take on the VCC2 net name.
