valor check result error help

 hi guys,

i have a design, then the customer did a enterprise check (result is the attached file), and there was an error under the "broken"  row.

Can anyone help me what kind of error is that? and what is the cause of the error? There are 11 errors under this.

I am not familiar with enterprise or valor.  The error seems to be voltage and gnd related.

Note: the actual extension name of the attached file is *.out, i changed it to *.txt to be able to attached it.

Thanks.

regards,

eric

Eric, What this is telling you is that there is some sort of problem with the design that has resulted in an electrical open or broken nets.   Possible causes for the problem could be: The connections may have been left out of your design.  Check the design status to be sure all of your nets are routed and all connections have been made.During export to Gerber or ODB++ some connections may have been lost especially if you have dynamic shapes in your design.  Try converting to static shapes if this is the case.If you supplied Gerber (this shouldn’t happen if you are working with ODB++ data) with a separate net list, your net list could be out of date as compared to your design.  Try exporting all new Gerber and a net list and see if the Valor check passes.  Hope this helps … --741

     hi 741,

thanks for your reply. I will try to ask my boss to redo the procedure you gave. The customer used ODB++ in performing the valor check. I also verified the Film settings for gerber and no problem was found. We will now try to do the procedure you mention if the same error will come out.

    regards, eric
