Add signal name to PWR and GND symbols --- Design Entry HDL 16.5

How do I add  a signal name to a GND and PWR schematic symbol? I'm having great difficulty finding this information in the Cadence documentation and/or online.

Thank you.

    Kool,

I created my own library for custom made ground and power symbols, AGND, DGND +5VCLN....  Start a new library and save an existing gnd or pwr symbol to the new library or drag one from the cache of a dsn to the library.  Modify as you would like then do a save as and rename it.  I have tried to find a way to edit it in a schematic, like you can with a part, but no luck.

     Thanks Ken13.

I may try this but I'd like to know how to properly build PWR and GND symbols with a slightly different look.  And I'd like to understand how to build these PWR symbols.

    Hi KoolKat,

Here’s a good Cadence Online Support Solution with all the details:

    http://support.cadence.com/wps/mypoc/cos?uri=deeplinkmin:ViewSolution;solutionNumber=11206832

The solution provides the steps needed and references to the local manual.
