Low assertion on pin text - Part Developer 16.5

I am trying to get my schematic symbol to display with the low assertion bar over the pin text.  The pin attribute is PIN_TEXT and I have named it OE*.  In Part Developer under Tools>Setup the Low Assertion Character window Additional Read = _N, Read/Write = *.  Use minus (-)... is Checked.

I was expecting my symbol to come into the schematic with the a bar over the OE.  It's coming in as OE* (with the * instead of the over bar).

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Are you dealing with Capture?  If so for the pin name enter \O\E and that should give the bar above the letters.

No, I'm dealing with Design Entry HDL.  I reference the Cadence documentation (User Guide and Tutorial) but am having difficulty understanding it.

Have you solved this problem?  Were you able to add a bar line in the pin text?

Just for anyone else looking for this answer.  I'm using capture cis 17.2 and the format appears to be letter then '\'.  So CS with a bar over the hole thing would be C\S\  If you wanted the same with a bar only over the C you'd type: C\S
