 how to get the board thickness(stack up) details through idf into inventor(MCAD tool)..when i see the idf file(thru wordpad) i am getting the board thickness..butthe MCAD says that he his not able to measure the board thickness..has any one tried this using inventor tools for 3d view if so can u suggest the steps to get the board thickness details in inventor tool

    There is a measure tool in Inventor (inspect menu - measure - distance) and you effectively measure from the top face of the pcb to the bottom face.
