Sockets / FPGA's

We are using Allegro HDL and PCB Editor 16.2.  We would like to be able to drop a single symbol on our schematic for a 208pin socket in which we will install a 208pin FPGA at the assembly level when completed.  We would like both the Socket and FPGA to appear on our BOM.  Anyone know how this can be done?

If you have a multi-level BOM tool, you could export a new part number which would then cause the MRP system to order the subassemblies which would be the socket and the FPGA.

Another way would be to put a socket symbol in the schematic and include it in the BOM.
