Re: Converting PADS to Cadence PCB Editor Errors

Hi All,

I got a design with PADS 2007. I exported .asc file with V5 format and imported to Cadence PCB Editor. Some of the nets were showing dummy net and got lots of DRC errors. Anybody have any idea on how to import PADS to Cadence for 100% drc free? I also need to convert library files and PADS Logic to Allegro Design Entry CIS as well? Any suggestion on conversion?

Regards,

 Win Min

Elgris Technologies (www.elgris.com) has the schematic translation  tool  and provides the services to translate PADS Powerlogic schematic  and libraries to ConceptHDL (Allegro Entry HDL) or to OrCAD Capture.
