Unable update the padstack

Hi,

I want to change an irregular pad’s size and revised the shape symbol firstly, then update the padstack in the .dra file it dosen’t work, only if the shape symbol is saved as another file and used in the pad designer again, it would be work, why?

    In the dra file use Tools - Update Symbols, then check the shape and flash symbols and click on refresh......

    Hello,,
    I got problem when check the shape and flash symbol,,
    "shape and flash symbol" is not selectable, so i can't check it,,
    and yes, it is a problem, the symbol i've modified can't viewed in PCB editor,,

    first i export the libraries from PCB editor, then i open package editor and editing some package symbol, and the problem just like i wrote above.
