Replace 8 of 40 components -NOT global replace, DEHDL 16.5

I would like to replace only 8 of 40 components and retain the Ref Des and rotation of the components in the schematic.  I know how to do a global replace but I don't want the other 32 components to change.  I tried Component>Replace but the tool does not retain the Ref Des nor the version.

I want to replace 510K resistors with 100K. So I do Component>Replace, select the 100K resistor then click on the 510K resistor in the schematic.  The tool replaces the 510K with the 100K but does not retain the Ref Des or the version that is presently in the schematic.

Changing 8 resistors is not a time-consuming event but if one is working in hierarchy and wants to change a few of several components and retain the properties I'm thinking it should be doable.

Your comments are appreciated.  Thank you.

Okay.  Thank you.  I have not used this feature. Tools>Part Manager...  I will play with it.

    Thanks for the heads-up!
