Allegro Design Entry HDL version 16.3 BonjourEst il possible d’assigner une location a des composants que dans une zone définie.Je voudrai que les locations se suivent dans ce groupe de composants.Merci Hello

Is it possible to assign a location that has components in a defined area.

I would like to follow the locations of components in this group.

thank you

If your talking about grouping the parts on a pcb then you can add an attribute to each component called ROOM with a value of the room name. Then when you import the netlist into PCB you can draw the ROOM, and the Quickplace will place all the parts that have that ROOM property into the area defined. If parts do not have that property you get a DRC.

merci de votre reponse mais ce n'est pas le but de ma question !
elle etait sur le schema : peut on assigner des locations qui ce suivent dans une room et pas dans l'ensemble du schema.
ex dans une room R100 et dans une autre R200 ect

thank you for your response but this is not the purpose of my question!
She was on the schema: can we assign to the following locations in a room and not the entire scheme.
eg in a room R100 and another R200 ect

You can direct the tool, upon Packaging, to output reference designators in a pattern.  For example, you can have all of your reference designators on page one of your schematic start with 100, where you would have R100, R101, R102, C100, C101, C102, U100, etc. and then on page two of your schematic you have R200, R201, R202, C200, C201, C202, U200, etc.  This makes it much easier to reference and find components in the schematic - very handy in a design review.

In English this Cadence feature setting is called "Ref_Des_Pattern" and you define this in the Packager Setup where you provide your desired syntax for how you want to output/write your reference designators.  Reference your Packager-XL Reference Guide and do a search on "REF DES PATTERN."  It very nicely outlines how to set up your syntax for the output you desire.

You will write your syntax in Packager Setup>Layout tab > Ref Des Pattern.

I hope this helps get you started.
