multiple overlapping shapes, same net, keep separate!

Hi all.  I'm stumped.  I have a finished layout (Cadence PCB Editor v16.3) and as a last step I would like to pour copper over the top and bottom with net GND for EMI considerations.  The problem is that I have other shapes with net GND already in existence that I do *not* want to become part of the overall pour.  I realize I can manually draw a void in the "overall" pour, but my existing shapes are oddly shaped and this is timeconsuming.  It would be awesome if I could simply z-copy the existing shape as a void in the "overall" pour, but this doesn't appear to be possible.  The "No_Shape_Connect" property would work great, too, but it doesn't appear to be an option with shapes (only Clines, pins, or vias).  I've tried z-copying the existing shape into anti-etch and then decomposing the shape (result = outline only), but the dynamic "overall" pour seems to ignore the anti etch w/ and w/o the Split Plane Create command.  Does anyone know of an easy way to do what I'm trying to do?  Thanks!!!
