Changing current symbol from homogeneous to hetero

 All,

Once a symbol is created as a homogeneous can it be changed to heterogenous? I have a symbol that has graphics that I can use in another symbol but can't because the boxes that select between symbol types is greyed out. Is there a way to unlock these buttons and do a "save as" with these selections available.  See attachment for clarity

Once a symbol is created the mode is fixed, so you will need to create another symbol of the required type to change the symbol type. You CAN open multiple symbols so it is possible to copy the graphics of one symbol to another and work from there in the new symbol.

    Greetings,

I thought that might be the answer. This was tied in to another post about drawing arcs. I can succcessfully copy the graphics so I can move forward.

    Thanks,

    Ron Scott
