Autosilk difficulties

Hello,

I am using the Autosilk functionality in Orcad PCB Designer 16.5.  The problem I am having is I have several eletrolytic capacitors that have a silkscreen circle to mark the positive side; however, when I use the Autosilk utility it does not seem to translate over.   I have tried placing this circle on several of the board layers to no avail, it seems that the Autosilk function does not like shapes.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Currently shapes are not a supported item by the Autosilk. You have two options. Add the shape circles in manually afterwards (you can add shapes to the layer). Or change the shape circles to a circular line with a line width. I also suggest you raise an enhancement SR with Cadence for them to support this feature.
