hi guys , Can anyone plz let me know if it is possible to simulate RF Components in PSpice, and if it is possible are there certain requirements or conditions for that..  i want to test the performance of the rf ics at uhf and vhf bands.

So you send me a personal message, asking some specific questions about discrete components using Pspice (message to all, please don't send general questions to me personally - they should go to the forum - I don't mind personal questions if they are specific follow-ons from something in the forum - particularly when I've invited people to contact me personally; I don't have the bandwidth to answer every unsolicited question). I suggest that you should post to the PCB Design forum, and not the RF Design forum. You then post to the RF Design forum!

I'll move this to the PCB Design forum, since that's where questions on PSpice tend to get answered.

    Andrew.

Your question is very generic and difficult to judge what exactly your need is.  In short: Yes, you can perform simulation in PSpice to get the behavior of devices in UHF/VHF range, however not all RF specific analysis types are supported in PSpice. You also need to model frequency dependence characteristics of devices, PSpice would not automatically include those.

    Hope this helps.

thanks for the help .actually i'm designing an entire transceiver block using rf3025 (rf switch),cc1101(transceiver chip),mm20932b (power amplifier ).do u think i can simulate these components in cadence
