creating symbol in Alegro PCB package regime

Hi everbody,

Please, how can I create thermal vias and thermal pad of some symbol in Allegro PCB Designer in the package regime? Is it ever possible create there, or only in normal regime?

     File->New

    Choose FLASH symbol.  You can create any type of thermal symbol once you are in the flash editor.  Be sure to save the symbol in the symbols directory.  Then generate a padstack and call out the thermal (flash) symbol you just created for each layer where you want to use it.

    So, If i understand your reply correctly, my question is then: "how can I add any die padstack(in this case according to you called thermal pad) in Allegro PCB package symbol environment?" and "how can I then add thermal vias in this environment, without a program thought that is a footprint pins?" thanks

     ps: and i know that FLASH symbol is required only for negative plane not for positive
