Vias on top of vias

Hello, I work for a very small company that only has an ancient version of OrCad (10.5). All the people who used to

know OrCad well are no longer there, so I have no one to ask. This version of OrCad seems to place vias on top of vias

all the time. I don't know why or how to stop it from happening. I typically use the free vias, but it seems to happen

whether I do or not. Is there anyone out there that can explain this? (Yeah, I know - get them to upgrade, but that

isn't going to happen. They are way too small a company :-) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
