Getting rid of the library/part path tool tip

Hi,

Is there a way to get rid of the pop up tool tip that shows the full library path when I place my cursor over either a listed library or a listed part in the Place Part dialog? I find this pop up extremely anoying and I've looked at all the options and customizations I can find to get rid of it with no luck. Thanks.

You would need to raise an enhancement request with Cadence support to get this investigated since, AFAIK, it's not possible to configure this at present.

You can do this using the TCL command in Capture TCL shell-

    That does it. Thanks!

Is there a way to load this command automatically when Capture opens or do I need to invoke it each time I want to get rid of it?

    Cheers,

    Robert

    Thanks hmkr,

It seems that all I needed to do was call the command once and now the command is autoloaded each time Capture is opened.
