Hi!
I mostly use Proteus for my schemetic capture and ares for pcb design. but now i want to learn cadance orcad because it is more powerful tool than proteus. kindly tell me where should i take start in cadance orcad to learn it? there are many other tools are given with cadance orcad, i.e; pspice, schemetic capture, cis, and some others, for what purpose they are used for??? kindly give me some useful links to learn cadance orcad and work practically on it to design schemetics and pcb layouts.

There is a book by Craig Mitzner "Complete PCB Design using Orcad Capture and PCB Editor".

I tried learning the new version on my own, but just got very frustrated. Biggest help I had was attending a 3 day training class. Don't know if they are offered in your area, but if they are I would strongly suggest attending one.

Lots of help is available on this forum also.
