Rotating parts

I have a group of parts selected, I want to rotate the group but when I selecte rotate, they rotate around their own individual axis.

How can I get them to rotate as a group and not individaully?

    This should do the trick.

    Thanks, that works.

Is there any way to make this mode a default as most of the time when I do rotating of groups, I do not want the  individual parts, but the whole group to rotate (like in 16.2 and previous....) Trying to keep "clicks" to a minimum...........

I think once you set it on user pick it stays that way for the design.

But if you are trying to minimize clicking you may want to avoid user pick since you have to click one extra time everytime you want to move something to select the pick location.

Yes, I just noticed that now it rotates things the way I like after doing it once.

(PS: there are probably a limited number of clicks left in my index finger after doing this for many years. Anything to reduce clicking, I'm all for. Much to my chagrin, this new version requires more clicking to do the same things that the older versions did with less. Starting to train myself to use the left hand now.......... )
