import .STEP file in PCB editor 16.5?

How to import .step file ( Connector Component )  in allegro PCB editor 16.5.

    I stumbled upon a step folder in %CDSROOT%\share\pcb\examples which looks to be a Step workshop.  I am in the examples folder all the time looking up SKILL AXL command info and noticed the step folder.  Check it out, it may help.
