SCHOTTKY DIODE

Hello,

I am using a circuit which runs at 105khz - 250khz in sweep analysis, i want my ac voltage to be converted to dc via a bridge rectifier. as normal diodes don't work well at these frequencies i opted for schottky diodes, can anybody please suggest me which diode to use. my requirement is 40v, 1a. I don't find schottky in the basic pspice library.

There are a bunch of SPICE diode models listed at this location http:__www.diodes.com_products_spicemodels (fill in the slashes) one of these might fit your needs.

Start the Model Editor, Start>Programs>Cadence>Release "version">PSpice Accessories>Model Editor. File>New, Model>New, "any" model name and From Model, get the curves, View>Edit Model, replace the default model text with the Notepad text for the model, then File>Save As and save the LIB file. File>Export to Capture Part Library, to create the graphical OLB file. In Capture, Place>Part, Add Library to add the OLB file. In the PSpice Simulation Profile, Configfuration Files, Library, browse for the LIB file and Add to Design.

See the pspug.pdf, in the doc\pspug directory of the installation, Appendix C "Importing Spice Models".
