Connecting Dynamic shape and SMD pads of same net

Cadence Allegro PCB Editor in the suite 16.6.

 For example I have some SMD pad, and I am drawing dynamic shape around that SMD pad of the same net. And lets say I want that shape to be *FULLY* connected to that SMD pad.

 In the constraints editor I already specified 0 clearance between SMD pad and SHAPE of the Same NET.

 

However, when I draw the shape around that pad, there is discontiniuty in the connection around the pad, and it connects to that pad only in four places (top,bottom,left,right) of the pad. That is not what I want at all. How to make a SHape cover SMD pad around and fully connect to it, given that they are of same net?

     Ok I found it:

     

    On the menu toolbar press "Shape Select", then select that shape, right click->Parameters, in the new window go to Thermal relief connects tab, and select "Full contact" for  Thru Pins,Smd Pins,Vias drop down menus.

    Your idea might be ok as long as you realize that every pin assoicated with that shape will have a full contact thermal. If you only want one or two connections as full contact there is a property that you can attach to the individual pin called DYN_THERMAL_CON_TYPE, just set the value to FULL_CONTACT and that one pin will be full contact only.
