How to import and export constraints from Allegro PCB to Excel

We have some complex and large constraints files to use for our designs and it would make life a lot easier if the constraints could be downloaded to excel, modified and then reloaded back into the design.

Is there any way that this can be done.

Not really. If you have an XL license or High Speed Option then from Constraint Manager you can use Tools - Excel which will copy the open constraints into Excel for viewing but there is no way to get them back into Constraint Manager.

Surely the Constraint Manager is just like Excel and can be edited in a similar way ?

You can import/export a Worksheet file, which is a delimited file that can be read into Excel. But I'm not sure that will be any easier then simply editing CM.
