How do I change the "Drawing Origin Size" in Allegro 16x

I find the drawing origin size just a bit too small, was wondering is there a method to change its size so it stands out, i.e make it bigger

Thanks Scott

Scott, I don't know how to change the size. You can, however,  change the color to enhance the symbol's visibility.  Just use the pull-down "Display" menu: Color/Visibility--->>>Drawing Format--->>>Drawing_Origin and choose a different color.

    Hi Budd

Looks like it cant be done eh.. It's not a big deal though the origin marker sure does look small even on a B size sheet -)

I have my color set to green which it makes it pretty clear but IMHO the actual origin marker is just way too small.

    Thanks Scott

    Scott,

Fear not! It can be done. I did this a while back but of course, did not write it down. I'll put my thinking cap on for a while and get back to you.

I sooo wish that the drawing origin symbol was larger.  Either that, or infinite origin marker lines extending outwards on the x and y axis from 0,0.

Hi Dave, would be nice indeed, Proably an ez fix too.

I kind of like how they handled doing the Origin Marker in the last cut of P-CAD for windows. The origin marker would scale depending on your zoom level.

Zoomed out it would look larger but not too large yet still visible. When you zoom in it got reduced in size.

    Kind of neat I thought.

    Thanks Scott
